Ibis Half-round Chair
The woodwork of this classic half-round chair was stripped down, sanded and treated three times with Danish oil to bring out the grain of the wood. The drop seat was reupholstered with a fabric designed by Pinchuck. He then worked into the printed textile by painting directly onto it with acrylic paint mixed into a fabric medium. The seat has been waxed to give it a semi-matt finish that is also protective.
