Majolica Rooster Chair
A friend of the artist who was renovating an old house in Portugal saw Pinchuck's Majolica Rooster cushion cover and ordered one. The artist wondered what the design would look like on a rustic wooden dining chair that was lying around in a shed. He painted the woodwork of the chair in a distressed style to bring out the Majolica character of the seat. he used chalk paint and acrylics sealed with three coats of wax.
